The series is a high-quality review of the researchers and student working in and with the Doctoral Program on Educational Sciences of the University of Debrecen and the work of foreign researchers related to the investigations of the institution. The authors, researchers elaborate a huge spectrum of topics under the umbrella of the research centre of CHERD-Hungary which create a kind of unit alongside the regional and religious dimensions of education. The first two volumes provide a revision about the research called Regional University. The third, fourth and sixth volume of the series shows this from a new point of view, focusing on the engagement of the ecclesiastic higher education summarising the results of the REVACERN research. The fifth, seventh and eighth volumes deepen the dimension of regionalism reporting the results of the research called TERD.
