This publication series is a high-quality review of the work of researchers and students participating in or collaborating with the Doctoral Program in Educational Sciences at the University of Debrecen, as well as studies by foreign researchers in their respective fields. Under the auspices of the CHERD-Hungary research center, the authors and researchers address a wide variety of topics that form a cohesive whole centered on the regional and religious dimensions of education. The first two volumes provide an overview of the research project titled “Regional University.” The third, fourth, and sixth volumes of the series present all of this from a new perspective, focusing on the role of faith-based higher education and summarizing the results of the REVACERN research. The fifth, seventh, and eighth volumes, meanwhile, delve deeper into the dimension of regionalism and report on the findings of the TERD research.
