Dr. Barabás AndreaDirector of the Vilmos Csutak Teachers’ House in Covasna County; lecturer at the Teacher Training Institute of Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania and site coordinator in Sfântu Gheorghe She completed her secondary education at the Benedek Elek Teacher Training College in Székelyudvarhely. She received her degree in psychology from Babeş–Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca in 2008. In 2019, she earned a master’s degree in business management from Babeş–Bolyai University. She participated in the doctoral program at the Doctoral School of Humanities, University of Debrecen, in the Doctoral Program in Educational Science and Cultural Management, and defended her dissertation in 2024. She is a member of the National Corps of Mentor Teachers in Romania and the National Accreditation Committee. She is also involved in continuing education for teachers, organizing scientific, methodological, and cultural activities, as well as providing counseling, consultation, and managing various grant applications. Bicsak EszterTeacher – Fráter György Elementary School in Remetea (Hargitha County, Romania) Doctoral Student – University of Debrecen, Doctoral School of Humanities, Doctoral Program in Educational Sciences She completed her bachelor’s degree in 2024 at the Odorheiu Secuiesc campus of Babeș-Bolyai University, majoring in Kindergarten and Elementary Education, and then earned her master’s degree in Effective Learning Strategies from the same institution in 2026. During her university years, she presented her research findings two times at the university’s conference titled “Competence and Knowledge Transfer in Education”: in 2024, on the role of fairy tales in developing morality in fourth-grade students, and in 2026, on laying the foundation for social competence through cooperative activities during the transition to school. Starting in the 2026–2027 academic year, she will be a full-time student at the Doctoral School of Humanities at the University of Debrecen, under the supervision of Dr. Lilla Péter. Her research focuses on teachers’ experiences with the integration of artificial intelligence into education in Hungarian-language public schools in Romania: she examines how the emergence of AI transforms teachers’ professional self-concept, motivation, and sense of vocation. Dorogi AlexandraPhD Candidate – University of Debrecen, Doctoral School of Humanities, Doctoral Program on Educational Sciences She graduated with a degree in economics (tourism and hospitality) from the University of Debrecen in 2017, and then continued her studies at the Budapest University of Economics and Business in 2019, where she earned a master’s degree in economics (hospitality and tourism). In 2018, her work was awarded a special TDK prize, and in 2020, she was admitted to the Doctoral School of Humanities at the University of Debrecen. She currently works as the head of adult education at the Vocational Training Center of Mátészalka. Her research focuses on students in vocational schools, with particular attention to their family background and academic performance, which she analyses using the databases of the National Competency Assessment. Her research is related to the issues of future consciousness and future orientation: by exploring the connections between social background and educational opportunities, she contributes to the foundation of conscious career planning as well as future-sensitive, opportunity-creating educational policy decisions. Dr. Godó KatalinAssistant lecturer – Ludovika University of Public Service She earned her degree as a high school teacher majoring in Hungarian Literature and Grammar and German language at the University of Debrecen in 2019. Learning and teaching play an important role in her life. She believes it is important to support students’ mental well-being, that is the reason why she completed a mental health specialist training program at the Institute of Psychology at the University of Debrecen in 2021 and began studying psychology at Babeș–Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca in 2024. She currently teaches Hungarian language and literature in public education and, as a guest lecturer, teaches courses in teacher training at the University of Debrecen and the Department of Romology at the Debrecen Reformed Theological University. Polgáriné Szilágyi EditPhD Candidate – University of Debrecen, Doctoral School of Humanities, Doctoral Program on Educational Sciences She graduated from the University of Miskolc with a degree in German language teaching and as a translation specialist in economics and social sciences, and later earned her certification as a teacher of English and a mentor teacher at the University of Debrecen. In 2020, she applied to the Doctoral School of Humanities at the University of Debrecen. Before joining the faculty, she had worked in public administration and the media. She is a full-time English teacher, department head, and homeroom teacher for Class 11A at the KOSZISZ Szent István High School in Újfehértó. Her research focuses on the pedagogical methods of Kolping high schools, particularly the education and instruction of disadvantaged youth. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Hungarian Language and Literature from the Faculty of Humanities and Natural Sciences at Uzhhorod National University in 2011 and 2012. At the start of her career, she worked at the Élim Day Care Center, where she spent two years participating in activities designed to help children with special educational needs to integrate into society. She then worked as a teacher at Hetyen Elementary School for eight years. In 2023, she earned a teaching degree from the master’s program at the II. Rákóczi Ferenc College of Transcarpathia, and in the same year, she was admitted to the doctoral program at the University of Debrecen, where her research focuses on the impact of using LEGO® Duplo blocks in STEM education. She is currently a teacher at the József Simándy Elementary School and Elementary School of Arts in Kistarcsa, where she teaches first-grade students, placing special emphasis on creative, playful, and experiential forms of learning.
